Rules Empty Rules

Basic Rules:
1. No repeatedly attacking the same person.(Not With Grabs And Throws)
2. No using Emoticons to attack.
3. Exception to Basic Rule 2: NES Smilies are allowed.
4. No editing posts to fit in more attacks.
Battle Rules:
1. Melee attacks are unavoidable.
2. Projectiles that are reflected are the same strength as when originally shot.
3. Each contestant has 150 HP.
4. Exception to Battle Rule 3: in Team matches, each contestant has 300 HP.
5. If someone is defeated on the team that wins the match on the non-final round, they will be let back in for the next round.
6. The same move cannot be used twice in a row.
7. When hit by a melee attack, you must have a hurt animation.
8. You may counter-strike on the same post as a hurt post.
9. When a TO declares that you are out for the round, you are out and you must not post anymore fight animations.
10. Guarding is permissible for both melee and projectile attacks.
11. Guarding is good for two attacks.
12. Guarding regenerates on a new page.
13. Side-stepping is forbidden for melee attacks. However, it can be used to dodge projectiles within two posts after a projectile has been fired.
14. You cannot sidestep a projectile after the third post after the attack.
Final Smash Rules:
1. Smash Balls can only be released by a Tourney Official specified before the match.
2. Final Smashes can only be done once per character per round.
3. Final Forms deal double damage for three posts. On their fourth post, the combatant reverts to their normal form.
4. Semi Final Forms deal triple damage for two posts. On their third post, the combatant reverts to their normal form.
5. Final Smashes that are one big attack count follow the rules of a projectile.
6. If a character is incomplete and does not have Final Smash animations, a player is allowed to switch characters after breaking a Smash Ball.
Combo Rules:
1. A Combo is, basically, a Melee attack with knock-back.
2. A Combo is this:Rules Acombo2NOT this:Rules AforwardsmashRules Acombo1
3. You can dodge either the combo or the knock-back.
4. If you dodge the combo, you receive no damage. However, your next attack must be a Projectile Attack.
5. If you dodge the knock-back, you receive 30 damage. However, your next attack is both un-dodge-able and un-guard-able.
6. Like a projectile, if two posts pass after the combo, you receive the damage AND you must shoot a projectile for your next attack.
Match Rules:
1. There are four types of matches.
2. Solo Battle: The standard battle type. Everyone has 150 HP. Number of team members: Free-for-all
3. Team Battle: Just like solo battle, but with teams. Everyone has 300 HP. Number of team members: Up to three.
4. Training Battle: This is where wins or losses don't count. Everyone has 150 HP. Number of team members: Free-for-all
5. Tourney Battle: This is when teams are strategically organized for tournament-style battling. Minimum of four teams are required for this. It will go like this (example):
Team 1 vs. Team 4: Team 1 wins
Team 2 vs. Team 3: Team 3 wins
Team 2 vs. Team 4: For third place
Team 1 vs. Team 3: For first place
Number of team members: Two only
Team Rules:
1. There can only be four teams during any one tourney.
2. Teams must be registered in advance.
3. Teams can only contain three people.
4. Once teams are decided, they stay that way for the rest of the tourney. If you want to join after it has started, you must contact me or Blitz
5. Exception to Team Rule 4: if a member of the team opts out for the rest of the tourney, another player that is not already competing may join to take his place.
Character Rules:
1. You must select the characters you use in advance.
2. The number of characters is relative to the number of rounds we have. Because there is only enough people for four teams at this time, only two can be selected: one for the first round and one for the final round.
3. Mid-battle character changes are forbidden.
4. You may use any character and its animations from any site you wish as long as it has aligned animations and is not cheap.
5. A spare character can be used after gaining a Smash Ball only if the current character that you are using does not have a Final Smash.
Tourney Start Rules:
1. All teams must be confirmed before starting a match.
2. All characters must be confirmed before starting a match.
3. I or any other tourney official must declare that it has started before any fight animations are posted.
Damage Rules:
1. Damages are evaluated by the following legend:
Melee/Combo: 30
Projectile: 40
Final Smash Attack: 100
Claiming Rules:
1. To claim a character, you must post their idle or a combo. First come, first serve rules apply.
2. To form a team, every desired member must agree to the team before the team counts as ready.

Thanks. Please no one get post happy, okay? Keep posts here to a minimum. If you want to discuss making teams, I'm gonna make a team-making topic real quick. As for actual matches, they can be started in separate topics.
